| Hey guys...I seriously fucked up vegas and can no longer re-render my amv for Youmacon now.. -_- Problem is when I would convert mkvs they came out shitty..I had the brilliant idea of re downloading my codecs. However, totally forgot I did some magic warlock crap to make them work last time. The videos will recognize a codec I download and they play fine. NOW when it comes to opening vegas, the thing won't recognize the video content hence getting the "media offline" bullshit...could definitely use some help...THANKS! | |

| Not sure if this will help at all, but I use Zarx264gui for converting my .mkv files. | |

| Okay the way I do it is render the video in avi, completely uncompressd save for one setting (I'm not home so I can't check it haha) but after that I script the video in virtualdubmod and then render it in zarx... If you want to try it that way then let me know | |

I convert my mkv's to lagarith lossless.. The files are gonna be big but you get good quality and they work in vegas like a charm haha | |

| lol I don't know to much myself.. But all you have to do is open your uncompressed video in Vdubmod via AVISynth (Should be an option for it in the file tab)... on the top bar go to tools, then script editor.
That should open a text editor and paste this under the other text
ConvertToYV12() vaguedenoiser() Tweak(cont=1.05,sat=1.1,bright=0.02, hue=0) temporalcleaner() AWarpSharp(depth=20.0, blurlevel=1) Crop(6,6,-6,-6) LanczosResize(1280,720)
then "Save and refresh" then open that script file in zarx.. then just render it out there
